HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

A little girl needs Daddy

For many many things

Like holding her high off the ground

Where the sunlight sings!

Like being the deep music

That tells her all is right

When she awakens frantic with

The terrors of the night.

Like being the great mountain

That rises in her heart

And shows her how she might get home

When all else falls apart.

Like giving her the love

That is her sea and air,

So diving deep or soaring high

She'll always find him there.

It is not flesh and blood

but the heart

which makes us

fathers and sons

Happy Fathers day Honey!!

Love you!

Jen

Jen,
This is such a sweet post, and I am getting all teary eyed reading it! I can tell you are a very close family! All of the pictures are so sweet, too. :) I hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day and are having a great week so far!

Oh, I LOVED your little silver platter that you painted with chalkboard paint, and had to copy you of course! I gave the link to your blog, and hope that is all right! :)

Beautiful tribute to the father in your life, your husband! Great music to accompany it too.

Thank-you very much for the prayers and encouragement you offered for me, my son, and his daughters..and letting me know . The expression of care and concern is appreciated beyond my ability to communicate it.
