I have vintage plates in my flower pots! Well, until they're overtaken by the posies... I'm going to look in my broken china bin to see if I have enough plates to make a border around my little cottage garden. I've seen other gals here in blogland do it.......SO CUTE!
Yours look adorable out in the garden. Doesn't it just make you smile?
I agree. Why not? My husband broke one of my favorites a few weeks ago. Mostly around one edge. So instead of throwing it out, I put it in a plastic bag. And when my deck is finally finished and things are back in their rightful place, I'm planning on sticking it out there in the dirt somewhere where no one will even see that it's broken! Brenda
Thanks for joining me over at my blog! I love to meet new blog friends! I read your "about me" to my husband and he said "it sounds like you!" Kindred spirits, maybe? :)
I'm a wife and the mother of three very energetic children. Just one year ago we decided to sell our comfortable ranch home to embark upon our new journey. We bought a 150 year old run down farmhouse. A dream come true for me, but by no means has this been easy!!!

That's a cool idea - imagine a border made of broken floral plates - broken side down, of course!

Why not is right Jen! How cute that looks. Leave it to you to come up with neat ideas.
Very cute! I have a whole border that's made from plates.
