Our old washing machine took a dump on us, so I now have a new, energy efficient front loader and boy can I loader up!! I can't believe how much laundry I can stuff in this thing!!
And to top it all off hubby put up a clothes line for me. I added these finials to the top, but thought they looked to small or just goofy?? Something seemed off.I'm going to add some cute brackets and maybe look for some larger finials and see if that looks better to me. I also can't decide if I want to paint the posts or just leave them. What do yall think?? I know it's just a stinkin clothesline, but these are the things that drive me crazy!
Of course I had to sew up a clothespin bag too. I added the hooks to the post so I had a nice spot to hang it.
Ya know, I have never really been to crazy about the smell of line dried clothes, but to know that we're saving a wod of cash on propane... I'll certainly live with it!! And I love to see the clothes blowin in the breeze!!

Your laundry room is way cute, even if its small! What a nice hubby to put up the clothes line for you. I love the added touch you gave it. P.S. love the stuff you hung from it... was that deliberate??? it just made it look all that much cuter and country living!
If someone asked me what I could not live without, it would be my washer and dryer. I have wanted a front loader for some time but it too shall wait a while longer. For now, I use my almost looks like new $50.00 washer that is a power horse. A friend sold it to us for nothing really. My dryer is newer as I wanted a more energy efficient dryer. Clothesline ~ :( not as yet. Maybe one day.
Jen, I love your little laundry room! Yay for hubby to put up the clothes line. I like the pin bag you made and the hook you have it hanging on. Oh, and that last pic of the clothes in the breeze is neat!

I am working on my laundry room too. Thanks for the inspiration. The clothes line is great! Leave it as is; it doesn't need painted. The bag is precious. I would love to have one of those! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Darling la petite laundry. Even better is the clothesline ... I wouldn't trade mine for the world. Nothing better than fresh linens off the line to nestle into at night. My feedsack fabrics look so pretty blowing in the breeze on the line, also. TTFN ~Marydon
Love your small laundry room!
I really like your small laundry room!
I too have a front loader...I LOVE it...with 6 girls, we have lots and lots of clothes...but the size of the loads are outrageous!
What if you put solar post lights on the tops of the posts?
Have a great weekend!

I remember when every new home came with a clothesline in the back yard! I was a small small child OF COURSE! Love that new washer! I may be headed that way myself. I'm sure it will happen when I have no money. Oh wait, that's always!
I love your blog and will be back to visit again for sure! We have similiar tastes :)

Your laundry room is cute! Love clothes on a clothesline blowing in the breeze:) Reminds me of my childhood! Have a blessed day!
we always dry our clothes out in the sun and the smell of crisp sun-dried clothes is truly heavenly!
xoxoxoxo
That looks like a great washer! Seeing your clothes line reminded me of when I was a child. I had to help hang and then bring in clothes off the line.
I doubt then that I enjoyed the fresh smell of line dried clothes.
Oh, I love my front-loader! I don't do a clothesline right now, but yours is certainly cute enough for inspiration!
i love the clothes line...mine is wrapped round 3 trees lol!
clothes smell much better when they have been on the line. :) xx
I'm jealous...I wish my husband would put up a clothes line for me! And you have such charming wares hanging from yours. Love your blog!
So jealous of your clothesline...I don't hardly have a backyard{surprises even myself} to have a clothesline. Your cp bag is the same fabric as part of my foyer curtains. Love it!!
