This is the boy just after he harvested his very own pumpkins. He has been very protective of his babies all summer long, faithfully feeding, watering and turning them...even scolding his Mother for mowing to close to their curly little vines. All his hard work has finally paid off and today he set up his very own road side stand. I got dibs on the biggest. He said I get a fifty cent Motherly discount.

He sure knows how to grow a pumpkin! All your kids are talented, must take after their dad!!! LOL X~X~X
Wow, that is AMAZING! His pumpkins look great! I love the bright orange ones especially! (I am always impressed by people who can grow edible things!) :) I hope your weekend was a good one! :)
Those are beautiful pumpkins. The one and only time I tried planting JUMBO pumkins, they were the size of a softball!!! I hope his hard work pays off and that's some discount you got! I am visiting you from Kathy's blog, Spot on Cedar Pond. Hope you have a nice week.
This is awesome, it's great to be able to grow your own veggies at his age !
How beautiful! He has to be proud of them.

That is so great that he had his own little pumpkin patch..they are beautiful, looks like he knows what he's doing with the watering and turning..glad he gave you a discount..LOL..
Farmer Boy sure can grow some nice pumpkins. They are so expensive to buy...you are lucky. Plus there is nothing like growing/making you own...not that I have grown mine but I did sew some.
Happy Fall!
How nice to get a discount. And you won't have to carry them far either!
Hugs,
Dawn

That is so cool! I'm going to file that away to do when I have kids. He must be so proud of himself!
Those are some great pumkins! I love how everyone is really mixing the green ones into the mix this year, I haven't really noticed them as much until now. Tell him- GOod Job!
My son would be over the moon if he could grow pumpkins like that!
Our growing season is short....no pumpkins or watermelon for us, sigh... He was VERY proud of the little yellow squashes he did grow though!
