OK...If yall have not heard of the Cottage Chic Store you should definitely check it out!!! http://www.cottagechicstore.com/. Here are a few of my favorite photos from their website!!

My bed is very similar to the one in this photo, but it is pine. The hubs and I bought it just before we were married. This photo has inspired me to paint it!! It's something that I have wanted to do for a long time and I think I am going to officially add it to my spring to-do list!

Isn't this the sweetest little play house!!

Shouldn't we all have a mixer and toaster like these!!

Love the wicker in the kitchen!!

This is similar to the blue that I just chose for my kitchen. I hate it in my kitchen!! Why can't it look like this in my house!!

This kitchen is small, but I love small kitchens!! Sooo cozy!!

Open shelving is my fave!!

I love the painted doors on these cabinets!!

By the way...I chose to leave my kitchen green for the time being. The blue was just...well...to blue!! I think I need to go with a more grayish, greenish blue. Does that make sense??? I'm going to see about finding a fabric for some new window treatments and then go from there. I'll be sure and let you know what I come up with.
Have a great week everyone!!
Jen

Those are some great shots. I love the black/white tile floor. That's what I'm leaning towards for my kitchen floor...hopefully we'll get it done this summer.
Have a fantastic day!

All of those rooms and colors look so nice. I wish my house looked half as nice as any of those rooms.

Those pics are so what I love in decor. I would like to have the green mixer and I really like open shelving. I like anything with a cottage look. Great pics! Madeline

Jen, thanks so much for your sweet comment today.

I think your idea about getting fabric (for curtains) with colors that you love and then picking a color for paint is the best thing to do!

Keep us posted on your kitchen redo progress.

What about a duck egg blue? that`s very peaceful and calming and not in your face!

I didn't know about this store, and can't wait to check out their website! I love all of the pictures you showed from their site~ so inspiring! I love the calm cottage like feeling in the rooms! Thanks for sharing! :)

P.S. Okay, about your kitchen...have you thought of yellow? I only say this because we had a really beautiful green in our kitchen/dining room before, but I needed something warmer, sunnier. Anyways, it's just a thought. I know not everyone is a yellow person! I know that whatever you choose to paint with, it will end up wonderful! :) I hope you have a good night! :)

Hi Jen, Very inspiring photos, I think there was a kitchen I saw in a Mag. which had a vibrant green in it, and it look fabulous.

Jen you have a very nice blog and I love your header. I'll be back to visit. Have a nice day!
