NEW SHABBY CAB

This is my new shabby cabinet!! In it's previous life I think it resided in a kitchen. It has lots of large shelves and some smaller shelves that I believe would have been for glasses.
I'm oh so excited about this !! You see, we have a gazillion books around this joint and they have all been hidden away in Rubbermaid storage down in the dungeon. Who wants to keep books hidden away in storage?
when they can look oh so lovely in my charming shabby cabinet

I even like to leave the door open a smidgen just so I can smell them.

Don't you love the smell of books???

What a pretty cabinet!!

I love the fact that you've chosen to use the cabinet for storing and displaying all of your treasured books. Much better than keeping them hidden away in storage bins where they can't be enjoyed.

I love everything about books! Especially reading one on a cold winter night when it is storming out and we have a fire burning in the fireplace.
Or . . . reading one while sitting on the patio with a nice glass of wine on a warm summer evening.
Or . . . reading one waiting for My husband to get back to the motorhome so we can cook up the fish he caught.
Ha1 lol. I love books!
And your new cabinet is awesome!!!!!
Have a great day!

I love what you did with your cabinet. I love taking furniture pieces like this and using them intentionally for different reasons. Anything that can hold books nicely is a good thing.
