A POT RACK AND A BUSY WEEK!!

Whew!! It's has been a busy week for us!! It's been nice to be able to sit down and check in on everyone!! Our van finally decided to die on us, so we had to pick out a new one real quick as I work three days a week as well as shuttle the kids back and forth to school. We have also been busy with baseball. Our oldest plays on two teams and that keeps us quite busy too!!

I thought I'd share a picture of the pot rack I added to the kitchen. This was given to me by our wonderful neighbor!! At first I wasn't sure if I would like it. I didn't want it to overwhelm the small space. Well, I do like it and I love the fact that it frees up cabinet space! We could really use some new pots and pans. I think I'll slowly add to our collection over time. I noticed that TJ MAX had a great selection last time I was there.

We have also been busy in the garden. Hubby planted the seed potatoes today and I have been busy with this....
I decided to landscape along our walkway. I didn't want to spend any money, so I just split plants from the back yard. Once everything fills out I think it will look really nice. I think I'll tuck some annuals in there too.
Hope everyone is fine and dandy!! I'll be checking in on you soon!! SMILE!
Jen

Jen, how smart you are to use what you already have! Generally the perennials need to be thinned anyway!
The problem is I want instant "full" garden. I am anxiously awaiting seeds thrown into beds to take over (I hope) :-)
Your sidewalk bed is fantastic - can wait to see it mature.

I love your idea of splitting the plants...once they fill in, this is going to really be nice.

Love the pot rack. I have two sitting in my garage from a house years ago. We just don't have room for them here.

Love your landscaping. My hubby is taking some days off at the end of the week so we can work in our yard.

You really have been busy! Sorry to hear about your van. So? What kind did you decide on?
Love , love, love the walkway :0) It's so happy and welcoming. wow! Your grass is sooooo green! If mine was that green the water police would be knocking at my door. Seriously!
Explain to me how you "split" plants, please. We've also been working in our yard but we're having to "buy" new plantings as our backyard was just wall to wall grass.
Pot rack really looks fab!

Your pot rack is nice and how cool that your neighbor gave it to you. Sorry to hear about your van. Your sidewalk flower bed is pretty and once things start to grow and spread it will be even lovelier.

I always wanted one of those pot racks. I think they are so neat looking and yours proves that!

How smart to split plants. Everyone can really garden on a dime if they want to.

Hope you are having a great week! Sorry about your van dying.

My dh is a big gardener too. He put his taters in a few weeks ago.
Love the new pot rack too!
